Surrounded by red lights and darkness, I spent many years mixing chemicals, printing images and viewing the world through the lens of my camera. The digital era emerged and I found myself exploring the world of visual effects. Now as a visual effects artist and supervisor, this blend of art and science has spilled over into my photographic practice. I experiment with the use of colour, tone and contrast to convey the vast scale of a landscape. I still attempt to capture reality, but I add my own truth to it.
